In 2018 following the events of the school shooting in Parkland, I knew I had to get involved to make a change. As a senior in high school, I led our high school walkout and called on our administration to make a series of changes that would make our school a safer environment for the students.

A lifelong democrat, I then began working for State Rep. Sam Yingling and additionally volunteered on JB Pritzker’s campaign. In 2020, I became a precinct committeeman and worked on State Senator Melinda Bush’s campaign.

Leading up to the 2024 election, I have been elected as the Chair of the Avon Township Democrats. As a 24 year old now leading a Township Organization, I believe that it is absolutely essential to involve other young Democrats to do everything we can to stop Trump in 2024.
